For the European Table Tennis Championships, hi5branding produced over 1,200 m² of print materials. We consistently used sustainable materials: all prints were made from PVC-free fabrics and recycled PET bottles (rePET). We are particularly proud that 80% of the prints were produced directly in Vienna, adhering to the highest sustainability standards. But that's not all: after the event, we contributed the large-format prints to an innovative upcycling project. This allowed us to significantly extend the product lifecycle and ensure their meaningful reuse.
In collaboration with the workshops of Caritas Vienna, approximately 150 bags, shoppers, and backpacks were produced from the materials used. These workshops offer young adults who are in the process of career orientation a valuable opportunity for further training and temporary employment.
From planning to implementation, our focus was on maximum sustainability – and it paid off: None of the materials used ended up as hazardous waste. With this project, we not only protected the environment but also made an important social contribution.
